The 27th Colloquium on Personnel Economics in 2025 will take place from May 8th to May 9th at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, featuring Astrid Kunze and Christopher Stanton as keynote speakers – COPE 2025.
About COPE: The Colloquium on Personnel Economics (COPE) was founded in 1998 by Uschi Backes-Gellner and Matthias Kräkel as an annual conference of German-speaking personnel economists. In 2010, COPE became international, attracting personnel economists from all over the world. Each year, COPE brings together around 80-100 personnel economists to discuss 60-70 papers in a constructive atmosphere and is particularly attractive to young researchers who are given the opportunity to present their work at a relatively early stage and receive constructive feedback from other researchers in the field.
As of 2022, the COPE standing scientific committee consists of the following five members:
Uschi Backes-Gellner | University of Zurich, Switzerland | since 1998 |
Oliver Fabel | University of Vienna, Austria | since 2003 |
Kerstin Pull | University of Tübingen; Germany | since 2007 |
Alex Bryson | University College London, UK | since 2016 |
Anders Frederiksen | Aarhus University, Denmark | since 2022 |
